Sentinel School teacher named super recycler AWARDS OF recognition have been presented to focal super recyclers by the Greater Vancouver Regional District. Recycling awards are presented annually to individuals, organiza- tions and industries who have made a_ significant contribution towards the growth of recycling. As well as rais- ing funds for school field trips the project also provided work experi- ence and opportunities for social interaction for the teachable men- tally handicapped teens in the pro- gram. Georgas and 12 other award recipients were honored at the Sth Annual Recycling Awards dinner at the Pan-Pacific Hotel. The GVRD promotes and en- courages recycling as a means of reducing waste and conserving the environment.
