Crowned with green trees,

shores and indented with

be expolored. B.C.’s south-

ern Gulf Islands provide
some of the world’s best —
and easiest — island
explorations.

Your own adventure can
begin by driving aboard one
of B.C.’s big ferry boats

which travel daily from the
mainland terminals to
Nanaimo, Swartz Bay and
the major gulf islands.

You can drive or cycle
around the larger islands, or
join in the seasonal! festivities
and shop for pottery, jewelry
and weaving, all produced by
local crafts-people You can
