The North Vancouver group homes would provide “*short-term stays for kids going in front of the courts .. who can’t stay home for a variety of reasons,’’ said spokesman for the Family Court Committee Wilma Dungey, who presented its annual report. Ald. Gary Payne asked who’s proposing and paying for facilanes referred to. Dungey said they hadn’t yet officially been proposed, but added that ‘‘what we're saying is obviously we're go- ing to have to have some housing (of this type) for juveniles.’’ If an agency was proposing to set such a facility up, the North Vancouver Family Court Committee would work with North Van City and District on the project, explained Dungey.
