collection of fine jewelry.

Available on special order
through the boutique, the
collection includes bejeweled
rings, bracelets and necklaces
of diamonds, sapphires, emer-
alds and pearls set in white
gold.

The collection, with pieces
starting at $3,000, pays
homage to its founder whose
1932 inaugural collection of
diamond jewelry was recreat-
ed by the French fashion
house in 1993. (Celine Dion
wore Chanel’s distinctive
“comet” necklace to the
Oscars two years ago.)

Predicting a resurgence in
the popularity of fine jewelry,
Auclert noted “the "80s werc
very cruel to jewellers. You
could go to Buckingham
