Thirty weary UBC students are naively left stranded at the UBC bus loop waiting for a North Vancouver Express bus, which will never come. The North Vancouver Express, or 286. is a direct link from the North Shore 10 UBC. Sis a service that is scheduled to teave for UBC “three tines in the morning and return three times in the afternoon, On a good day, it runs four times. total, We rely on this utility to deliver us on time to our classes, jobs, appointments and exams. The service is supplied at a reasenable $54 a month; it turns unreasonable as itis augmented by gas and parking spent driving to school when the bus does not show up. We have called in to customer service only (o be told that there are not enough bus drivers to supply our route.
