The police chiefs of
British Columbia are fed up
_with the typical TV por-
trayal of police officers as
arrogant, gun-happy thugs
who solve society's problems
in 30 minutes by breaking
society’s laws.
_ They want TV and movie
producers to clean up their
act, says West Vancouver's
Chief Constable Joe Hornell,
president of the B.C.
Association of Chiefs of
Police.
