Langley partially = at- tributed the Argyle’s loss to the loss of top scorer Robert Mulder at the end of the regular season. Mulder had been averaging 20 points a game. He said he had to use three Grade 11 starters for the game against the Royals. STILL ALIVE The Pipers can still’ make the 16 team provincial finals by again defeating West Van on Friday night and then beating the Vancouver 4 team, this week. The Highlanders hopes were kept alive by a 65-49 victory over Carson Graham Eagles on Wednesday night. Although Peterson said any of the teams that made it to the final double knockout round to be held March 12- 15, he admitted his team’s odds of winning the provincial tithe were “not heavy.” It is Peterson’s first year back as senior boys basketball coach after a stint of coaching the juniors. Registration begins. Registration for Capilano Pony-Colt will be held March 6 and 7 and March 15 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Highland School. This year registration is $30 including photos.
