It was officially opened in 1939
during the royal visit.

Originally it was built as a
two-lane bridge, but as it exists
today with three lanes, it is grossly
inadequate.

The North Shore population
and traffic continue to grow
despite the traffic delays on the
bridges.

seen form. The foliage is clean,
strong, very shiny and very large.

Although it is deeply lobed, the
overail size of the leaves makes a
bold statement when used around |
stone or old bricks.
