The recently opened business, located at 7th and Cambie, specializes in custom sofas, chairs, love seats and chaise. "We need to know what room the piece is going into and what use it will have. Are there pets and kids, for example? You have to consider the wear factor if it is going into the family room of a busy household." - With over 35 years experience in the home furnishings business Barbara and Paul are experts when it comes to fabric and upnoistery. "We want to get it right for our customers," says Barbara, "because when it works, it sings!” With a selection of 76 frames and over 2600 fabrics, the sky is the limit when it comes to designing a piece that is uniquely yours. Paul, who is the former owner of Georgia infertors, is recognized as the best in the industry for his innovative fabric and frame applications. "We can create the look you want for a price that is based on your budget," says Paul. "And we promise to get it right," adds Barbara. "Quality contro! is our rumber one emphasis. We are so sure you'll be satisfied we promise you, if you are not happy with the end result, you can re- select." How can they be so confident? "We have high expectations of our suppliers," says Barbara of their seven manufacturers, who are located in Vancouver and as far away as Los ‘Angeles and North Carolina. And, just as important, Sofa So Good uses oversize swatches that cover half a sofa, so customers easily get a feel for the look they want. “It's much more elfective than working with an 18 inch square." "If you would like to brainstorm, we're here, or if you prefer to browse the store on your own, that's great too!" Adds Barbara, “If you don't find something ‘ight away, come back soon. We are always bringing new designs and fabrics into the store. If there is something in the warehouse we think you would like, we'll take you. there too."!
