the first-ever Fall Fair at Lynn
Valley United Church has just
what you need. Featuring crafts,
home preserves, baking, and dried
flower arrangements in an outdoor
market setting, the fair takes place
from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Satur-
day, Oct. 23 at the church (3201
Mountain Hwy., North Van-
couver). The fair is Lynn Valley
United: Church’s main fundraising
event of the year.

fashion model will be the featured
speaker at. the West Vancouver

Baptist Church, 450 Mathers
Ave., West Vancouver, on Tues-
day, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. An
evening with Ghitta Lejeune will
feature accessories for fashion,
along with Lejeune’s recollections
of her
teenagers and as a foster parent.
Tickets are available through the
church at a cost of $5 each. Tick-
ets include dessert, coffee and tea.
