North Vancouver's Muriel and Hugh
Olson celebrated their Sth wedding
anniversary Aug. 29 with a family dinner at
the Park Royal Hotel, and an open house
Sept. 2. The couple purchased the Family
Pharmacy in the Queens and Lonsdale
shopping centre, renamed the pharmacy
Queensdale, and the name gradually
became the name of the complex and the
area. Muriel and Hugh have also owned
the Queensdale Gallery since in started,
have been active in the business commu-
nity with the LLBA, and Muriel organized
the first historic Walk of Lower Lonsdale.
