A tutal of 213 students from Japan graduaied from the school, located at 2420 Dollarton Highway. The other campus of the college is tocated in Nelson. The graduating students, whe are taught English and other academic subjects, started at the two-year college two years ago in Nelson and completed their final year at the North Vancouver campus. Most of the students enrolled in the college come to B.C. after having graduated from high shcool in Japan, while others after studying at Japanese col- leges. THE CANADA Employment Centre for Students, located above the main North Vancouver Post Office at 120 Lonsdale Ave., is now open for business. The centre, whose basic function is matching students looking for employment with employers, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday and from I to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday. The centre serves both high school snd post secondary educa- tion students, as well as homeown- ers and North Shore businesses. The centre hopes to _ find employment for about [,100 stu- dents this summer with a wide- range of jobs with salaries ranging fron $5 to $12 an hour.
