Lecture discusses
your self-worth

live art show held

A CAST of 150 artists — from
painters to African heritage
drummers — will fill the Com-
modore Ballroom this Sunday for
the Painters and Players live art
performance.

Audience goers can view human
sculptures, created by local
sculptors, and take in ongoing
entertainment. As well, artists will
be creating works for the 10:45
auction, hosted by West Van-
couver’s Ted Pappas.

Participating North Shore artists :
are West Vancouver’s Davide Pan,
best known for his ‘‘trash-can
art,”’ portrait artist Elizabeth Smi-
ly, president of the Federation of
Canadian Artists, and Ambrose
the human manikin.

The event will be held one night
only, on Feb. 18 beginning at 8
p.m. Advance tickets are $15 or
$20 at the door. Phone 280-4444.
