Bride wears 1929 dress

WEDDING BELLS rang out on
Saturday, Oct. 1, for Sentinel high
school teacher Michelle Metcalfe
and Burnaby teacher James Mac-
Farlan.

The. couple celebrated their
wedding and reception at the
Westridge Avenue home of the

bride’s parents, Ben and Dorothy -

Metcalfe, who have lived in West
Vancouver for 26 years.
One special touch at the wedding
- was the bride’s dress, which was
first worn by her maternal grand-
- mother in June, 1929.-Her grand-
.. mother, Anne Harrison, travelled
from’ her Winnipeg home to be
