The Capilano River is the venue for the race and a better, more picturesque environment could
not be found anywhere in Canada! For the 1996 Race up to 40,000 little yellow rubber ducks are emptied into the river, about 3kn.
upstream from the river mouth on Sunday, March 24 at 1 pm.it only takes about 5 seconds for all of them to be racing their way furiously
down the Canyon’s rapids - and about 15 minutes for the first one to reach the finish line at Park Royal South Shopping Mall.
The excitement before the Race will start much earlier, at about 12 noon with entertainment and family fun.
Winners will be announced on the stage at 2 pm, so bring your ticket and be prepared to have good time.
