of Fisrt Memorial Funeral Services,
North Vancouver on Wednesday, April 7

DRAPER - William Harrington, passed
away on April 1, 1993 in Lions Gate
Hospital. Born February 8, 1897 in Hat-
tic, B.C. Predeceased by his wife Helen
(nee Underhill), brother Richard and
sister Lucy. Survived by his nieces Eileen
Givens, Dorothy Davies, Donna Pringle,
Helen Pastis and nephew James Draper
and many other telatives and friends.
Bill served in the 72nd C1 Battalion,
Seaforth Highlanders in World War | and
was one of the fast surviving members
of the battle at Vimy Ridge. He also
served in the R.C.A.F. in World War I).
Bill was employed at Powell River for
many years, prior to retiring in West
Vancouver. His last few years were spent
at the Kiwanis Lodge on 22nd Street in
West Vancouver. Funeral service wilt be
held on Tuesday, Aprit 6, 1993 at
1:00pm in St Stephen’s Anglican
Church, 885 22nd Street, West Van-
couver with Reverend Keith Gilbert of-
ficiating. In fieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the Kiwanis todge,
West Vancouver. Hollyburn Funeral Home
in care of arrangements.
