All outstanding unmatured bonds

They'll earn more this year. The minimum rates previously guaranteed for all
outstanding unmatured series of Canada Savings Bonds have been raised to the new
rate of 114% for the year beginning November 1, 1984.

They’re protected in subsequent years too. Beginning November 1, 1985, these
issues still benefit from the protection of their respective minimum guaranteed

rates until maturity: 7% for Series 38, 82% for Series 37 and 102% for all other
outstanding series.
