Moss in North Vancouver provincial court on June 23: Margaret Rachel Berry received a suspended suntence and was placed on probation for one year after the 59-year-old North Van- couver woman pleaded guilty to the theft of two cosmetic bags April 5 from Sears. Before Judge D.E. Moss in North Vancouver provincial court on June 19: Angelo James Ahearn was fined $100 and ordered to pay the RCMP $118.01 in restitution after the 36-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to damaging a police car window on March 28. eoe Keith Dale Barker received a suspended sentence and was plac- ed on probation for one year after the 35-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to damaging a glass door owned by the Squamish Indian Band. He was also ordered to pay $250 in restitution. eee lan Graham Battle was fined $500 after the 25-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to assaulting a man July 20, 1990. eeo Lee David Bond was fined $750 and placed on probation for two years after the 25-year-old Van- couver man pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman on Nov. 30, 1990. eoe Jamee Willa Johnston was fined NORTH VANCOUVER CAPILANO MALL $400 after the 36-year-okf North Vancouver woman pleaded guilty to theft of a purse May 5, 1990. Before Judge W.J. Rodgers in North Vancouver provincial court on June 19: Craig Mackie, of no fixed ad- dress, was sentenced to 30 days in jail after the 29-year-old man pleaded guilty to prowling at night near a residence in 300-block East Sth St. on May 27. Mackie is to serve his sentence concurrently with another sentence he is serving at present. eee Soel David Bremner, of no fix- ed address, was sentenced to six months in jail after the 20-year- old man was found guilty of assaulting a man on May 24, 1990. Co-accused with Bremner, Chris Charles Arnold, 1!9, of North Vancouver, was also found guilty of the charge and sentenced to a 21-day jail term. Bremner was sentenced to an additional three days in jail after he pleaded guilty to failing to comply with his Oct. 23, 1990 probation order. He will serve this sentence concurrently with his other sentence. Before Judge D.E. Moss in North Vancouver provincial court on Sune 18: Albino Vallarsa was fined $200 after the 55-year-old North Van- couver man pleaded guilty to ob- taining a B.C. Grandison in West Vancouver provincial court on June 17: Michael James Atkinson recciv- ed a suspended sentence and was placed on probation for six months after the 27-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to theft of a television worth less than $1,000 on Jan. 21. eee Brent Gregory Bothe was fined $200 after the 24-year-old Whistler man pleaded guilty to driving without a driver’s licence and to speeding May 10 on Westport Road. eee Corey Laine Hilton was fined $400 after the 21-year-old Surrey man pleaded guilty to failing to stop May 15 when requested to do so by a police officer. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Vancouver provincial court on June 14: John Ledgerwood and John Surtees, both of North Van- couver, were ordered to stand trial on several theft-related charges in connection with alleged Nov. 19, 1990 incidents. Ledgerwood, 20, and Surtees, 18, are charged with theft over $1,000 and possession of stolen Property over $1,000 and mischief. In addition, Ledgerwood faces one count of possession of a screwdriver suitable for breaking into a car. The two men are to appear July 3 in Supreme Court to set a trial date. Before Judge W.J.
