12 tortillas
oil
2 cups 10 per cent creem
l cup chicken bouillon
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
2 caps chopped cooked chicken
1 cup chili sauce
1 cup sour cream
salt and pepper
12 cups grated Jack cheese

Prepare the tortillas by frying
each one gently in a little oil about
two seconds cach*side. Combine
the cream and chicken broth in a
bowl large enough to hold all! the
tortillas: As each one is fried, drop
into the cream mixture.

Saute the onion in butter. Add.

the remaining ‘ingredients’ ‘except

the cheese. Butter a large flat cas-

serole. Drain the tortillas, reserv-
ing. the. cream-bouillon mixture.
Fill cach with some of the chicken
mixture and place side-by-side,
seam-. side down in the casserole.

Pour. reserved cream mixture,over. | -
Top with cheese ‘and bake Y% hour, -

350°F. .
I like to garish this with black
or green olives.

. Chili Refenos
6 canned green chilies
6 slices (2°x42""x¥2"") each
old cheddar and Moutercy Jack

% cup flour

8 egg whites

6 egg yolks
Ys cup meited batter

Drain and rinse chilies. Remove
seeds.-Use rubber gloves if you can
—- chilies, burn like liniment. Stuff
the peppers with cheese, one slice
of each‘ kind...Sprinkle with four
