December 15, 16 and 17 with the assistance of a new North Shore
company, Dickens & Co. Maureen Olson, owner of Dickens & Co.,
is a costume designer and actress/singer. She has had great successes
at organizing themed parties and events and will debut her Victorian
carollers and lively cockney flowergirls to the North Shore at Park
Royal this week. “The Dickens theme is a wonderful concept to work
with.” says Olson. “The era's traditions of food, music and way-of-life
provides an unending source of event ideas.’

Dickens & Co. will be at Park Royal throughcut the three day
event complemented by other entertainment and activities including
Story Hour for small children with the West Van Memorial Lbirary,
a chestnut roaster (if you haven't tried one now's your chance), a
classic storyteller, Melanie Ray, for both adults and older children
and much more. Special giveaways and goodies in the Victorian theme
