N. Van woman killed im crash A NORTH VANCOUVER woman died after he vehicle was struck broadside by another at the intersection of loth Street and Grand Boulevard Thursday morning. Edith Margaret McDouald, 61, was driving westbound on 13th Street at 8:05 a.m. when she was hit be a car traselling northbound on Grand Boulevard. She was taken to Lions Gate Hos dital, but died shortly after as a result of injuries suffered in the accident, The driver of the other vehicle was Cindy Schimnosks, 19, of Regina, Saskatchewan, North Vancouver RCMP ave still investigating. The bird, valued at approximately $1,500, went missing from a business in the 1300-block of Marine Drive. Stefan Wiedemann, 25, is working his way through college by selling silver jewelry that he imports from Katmandu, Nepal. On Sunday (July 13) morning he left the jewelry, valued at ap- proximately $1,200, at the Marine Drive and Capilano Road bus- stop. When he arrived in Vancouver he immediately called friends who work at the International Phiza to check the bus-step, but the 100 pieces of jewelry were yone. Wiedemann, who was visiting his mother in North Vancouver at the time, reported the loss to North Vancouver RCMP and the West Vancouver Police.
