The above by-laws, upon adoption, and effective on January 1, 1987,

will increase the rates charged to users of the City’s Sanitary Sewer

System and Water Supply system. The increase will amount to ap-
fe proximately 3.5%, and is required in order to offset the increased
& cost of operating and maintaining these services to the communi-
#4 ty at existing levels. The 3.5% increase reiates to, but is not
™@ necessarily based upon, the escalation in the Vancouver Consumer
& Price index for 1986.

A Copies of the above named by-laws and schedules attached thereto
will be available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk
between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday.
