A counterfeit American $100 bill turned up at a local convenience store recently, and North Vancouver RCMP officers are warning local merchants to be suspicious of large U.S. bills. Over the past week American $100 biils have been turning up on Van- couver Island, the Lower Mainland and as far North as Prince George. The bills being passed have the serial numbers of bills drawn from. the Federal Reserve Bank of San Fran- cisco and display the letter i in the stamp and serial number.
