The Cap College Women’s
soccer team gave warning on
the weekend that they could

be the big = winners in
provincial college action
with a pair of wins over
Okanagan College in
Kelowna.

A four goal performance
by Karen Kirwood and a hat
trick by Linda McGregor led
the Cap girls to a 10-0
Saturday with singles going
to Debbie Nielson, Mary-
Anne Dunnjak and Donna

GOING into the big game
with four wins and two ties
each, Carson Graham dealt
Argyle its first loss of the
season last week, posting a

2-1 victory in senior -boys
soccer action.

The win puts the Eagles at
the top of the scoreboard,
with Argyle in third.

Argyle opened the scoring
with a goal by Mark Roach,
maintaining their lead until
the middle of the second
half. But then two quick
goals by Carson's’ Eric
DeHaan and Jim Wheatley
put the Eagles ahead and a
strong defence kept them
there.

Carson and Argyle are
joined by Sutherland and
Windsor in the top four, and
now commence a second
series
them to determine the North
Shore winner. The
