Raven suffered significant shortages on liquor and beer. When Foster alerted staff that Bevinco was on the case, shortages shrunk to a still unacceptable 7%. A couple of one-day audits revealed who was responsible for the shrinkage. The bartender was fired. David Feller, the owner of the Raven, said that with Bevinco’s monitoring, short- ages remain under 1%. “I don’t have to spend time checking up on our bar- tenders and I can trust my staff each night when I leave the pub or have a day off,” said Felier.
