they have overcome their financial
hurdles. For scae seniors it makes
sense to provide the children with an
early inheritance at a tinie when they
need it most.

Even children who don’t receive
the proceeds at this time appear on
the whole to be quite comfortible
with the CHIP program once they've
had the chance to investigate it.

Carol Christopherson, CHIP Vice
President, says some children do not
always have their parents’ best inter-
ests at heart, as some occasionally
attempt to deter their parents from
using CHIP in order to ensure a larg-
er inheritance for themselves. “On
the whole, however, this is not the
norm. Most children want the best
for their parents,” says
Christopherson.

For most CHIP recipients, the
program is a giant step forward to a
better, more fulftlling and enjoyable
lifestyle.
