Canyon Ecology Cenire will
be holding a number of
workshops and featuring
interesting guest speakers
geared for the whole family.

The theme for the week at the
centre is what you can do to help
urban wildlife, something we on
-the North Shore often take for

granted.

“Children and parents can build
a birdhouse for the back yard, take
part in raising their own butterfly,
or volunteer to help clean up gar-
bage and plant trees at the
Maptewood Mudflats conservation
area in North Vancouver,’’ said
the centre's Eleanor Hutton.
