Listening to opinions,
comments, and observations
on issues being raised in this
upcoming election, fami very
concerned because [ don't
hear very much about what |
feel is the most important
issue: honesty and credibility.

Glen Clark and the current
NDP government have nei-
ther. For months Glen Clark
has been telling us “Big
Business” has not been pay-
ing its fair share of taxes, crit-
icizing their ability to shelter
taxes,

While Glen Clark was the
‘Minister responsible for B.C.
Hydro, a company was set up
in the Grand Cayniin Islands
in order to avoid paying legit-
imate taxes and to reward

' special friends.

No one will ever convince
me that ex-premier Harcourt
did not know- about - this
arrangement and that Glen
Clark, being the minister
responsible, was not
informed and/or involved. His
denial — and local MLA
David Schreck’s denial. — I

seems that we accept whatev-
er government tells us or does
because they know what's
good for us.

This election is our oppor-
tunity to stand up and tell the
government that they work
for us and not the other way
around, and. therefore they
must be accountable for their
actions, —-

We can start by telling the
present NDP government
their past performance is not
acceptable, and their account-
ability to date is zero.

Show them your feelings
at the ballot box.
