On the premise that a little
knowledge is dangerous, your re-
cent editorial Housing Need is
hardly surprising.

To attribute selfishness and
greed (the possibility of lower
property values) to loca) residents
who oppose high-density senior
housing in an area of single-family
dwellings, is unfair, untrue and
without merit.

It’s time for reflections upon
summer vacation months and one
of the.most enjoyable, and short,
events for me was the two-minute
shopping spree at Stongs in Dun-
darave on July 28.°

Thank you, North Shore News
for such a fine gift. The manager
at the store was so pleasant and
encouraging jit ‘made the event
much less of a tense task for a
non-competitive person such as I.

We do enjoy the North Shore
News also very much I might add,
so we appreciate your efforts in
that direction also.
