Winter Games held Feb. 25 to March } in Fernie, B.C. The boxing club's Dave Cranmer won the medal in the 147-pound weight division. Cranmer was the only TAC fighter on the Lower Mainland’s Zone 5 squad. Other Zone 5 medal winners included light middleweight Jeff Laljee and intermediate light welterweight Jim Worrall, who won gold medals in their respective divisions. Zone 5 was coached by TAC’s Mel Nahanee and Tony Iacoviello. SCOTT ABERNETHY took over the high four-game series in the Avalon Hotel B.C.
