Rowdymen crush Knights The Olympic Hotel Rowdymen have not lost a ball hockey game at home. On Wednesday night they kept their streak alive by defeating Burnaby Knights 10-3. Rookie sensation Tony McCusker opened the scor- ing early in the Ist period, while defenseman Scott Wheaticy closed out the period with a powerplay goal. In the second period it was all Rowdymen. Lindsay Warwick scored two goals within 30 seconds and then on the next shift Rick Patten scored, all while short hand- ed. The rest of the goals in the second period came from Darryl Stanwood, Gary Lewis, Ken Lerner, and Cap- tain Bobby Emanuelle. Mark Orline started in goal and was reclicved by Kevin Sorensen who just recently recovered from a bad thigh injury. In the third period the Rowdymen became sloppy. and the Knights finally put the ball past Kevin Sorensen. The Knights goals came from Jim Thomson, pers rs John Edwards and Dave Car. The Rowdymen were not finished, as defenseman Lonnie Erickson rounded out the scoring with three minutes left. Next game is at the North Van Rec Centre at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
