Four NV men charged
as ‘crime ring’ broken

RAIDS by police forces

in North Vancouver

and other areas of the Lower Mainland have

resulted in the seizure of an estimated $50,000

worth of stolen property and broken what is being
described as an organized crime ring.

Four North Shore
residents are among the nine
people arrested in a series of
weekend raids on homes and
businesses by the Joint
Forces Operation. in-
vestigative arm of the
Coordinated Law’ En-
forcement Unit (CLEU) and
RCMP io North Vancouver
and Burnaby.

Police say the goods
recovered include expensive
camera equipment, video

game machines, silverware
and jewellery.

Suspects arrested have
been charged in Vancouver
provincial court.

Christopher Seymour,
aged 30, of 101-135 East 20th
Street, North Van. is
charged with conspiracy to
possess stolen property,
possessing stolen property
and break and entry.

His father, 55-year-old

charged with conspiracy to
possess stolen property and
possession.

Michael Curran, 23, of 353
West 17th Street, North
Van, is charged with
possessing stolen property.

All three are scheduled to
reappear June 11 in Van-
couver provincial court.

Mark Richards, aged 19,
of 564 West Keith, North
Van, was arrested and later
released and will be charged
by summons with break and
entry.
