COMMUTER CHAOS has reigned around the clock across both bridge routes connecting the North Shore to
downtown Vancouver ever since the inside lane southbound on Second Narrows Bridge closed this week. Just
reducing the three-lane stretch to two lanes has resulted in some snotorists being stuck in jams that have taken them
two hours to cross the bridge and there's no let-up at night, as this picture shows, Many drivers have switched to

| Lions Gate Bridge to try to escape the madness but It's just as jammed up there and as impatient motorists form

three feeder lines onto that bridge instead of the usual two, it means the through lane from West Van to North Van
