ST Vancouver women, both in their 70s, were
seriously injured on Wednesday after they were struck by
a vehicle in the 2200-block of Bellevue Avenue.

The 82-scear-ald driver, of West Vancauver, was not
injured in the incident, according to a West Vancouver
Police spokesman.

The women were trying to cross Bellevue Avenue at
about 4 pam. when they were hit

The seniors remain in hospital to press time.

West Vancouver Police are investigating,

No names were released.

THE, 9-1-1 emergency phone system, operated by the
Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD), handled
