This Christmas, you will take the party spotlight with metallics, whether in a gold handbag, a scarf flecked with silver thread, a brass cuff bracelet or bronzed pearls. Belts get scrolled gold hardware, are cut in velvet to match bags and hats, or are sprinkled with stones. Handbags are embellished like packages with satin cord, ribbon, colored stones, pearls atid gold et- ching. They range from tiny struc- tured shapes that fit into the hand to soft iuches that may even be attached to belts. The hair is put up in elegant ponytails, multiple buns that cover the head, and classic French rolls. Ornaments include hair pins, beaded hair bracelets and tulle ac- cessories. Ornamental scarves are wrapped around the crown like a hairband. Bead or pearl necklaces are wrapped several times around the wrist as a bracelet. Bracelet cuffs are wide, organic looking and covered with stones, textured metals or pearls. Frosty pastel colors are mixed with metallics, and brights are overshadowed by rich jewel shades of ruby, emerald and topaz. These holiday extras offer plen- ty of pomp and circumstance, but they also have versatility to create your own mood. You can make a stylish statement, add a sense of humor, or seduce with your party look. It’s your choice, your party, your season to shine.
