West Vancouver students at U Vic symposium

Students from West
Vancouver’s three secon-
dary schools — West Van,
Hillside and Sentinel — were
among the more than 100
top high school students
from across’ British
Columbia who took part in
last month’s 14th annual
Humanities and Science
Symposium at the University
of Victoria.

The annual symposium —
sponsored by UVic and B.C.
Telephone Company —
provides an opportunity for
high school students in
grades 11 and 12 Jo partici
pate in discussions, present
papers, meet UVic faculty
and sample hfe, including
residence, in an academic
community

applicants who prepared
academic papers for the
symposium.
