THE VOICE OF NORTH AND WEST VANCOUVER Photos submitted THE ALL-NEW 1990 Acura Integra GS, like all other models in the Integra lineup, features an aerodynamically efficient body design with a sloping hood, nearly-flush outside surfaces, sashless doors and a NEW ACURA SPORT MODELS REDESIGNED AROUND DRIVER THE STARTING point for the Honda R&D designers who created the new Integra model was to im- prove on what had come before. Their objective was to build on the strengths of the previous gen- eration of Integras, concentrating on every area from styling to per- formance. In the process, they have developed an entirely new automobile: there is not a single major component that has been carried over from the first-genera- tion Integras. The new Integra three-door and four-door sport automobiles are sophisticated, technologically- advanced, aerodynamically-styled and designed around the driver. They have the first-class accom- modations and high quality that have become synonymous with Acura, yet continue to project the sporty and youthful image estab- lished by the first-generation In- tegra. They are longer, lower, wider and have more cargo space than their predecessors. They have a new, more powerful, DOHC engine, four-wheel double- wishbone independent suspension, more driver and passenger room, and advanced technology such as available Anti-Lock Brakes (ALB), yet their essential personality re- mains unchanged — they are truly performance cars for serious drivers, Both vescsions of the all-new 1990 Inv -as are fully equipped with 2 * range of standard feature, awit include speed-sen- ave Durability Page 25
