Youth band gives concert |

SINCE 1939, the North Vancouver
Youth Band has been performing
to local audiences and gathering
followers, and its latest ‘concert is
set for May 15.

“It's a cancert band that mar-
ches, it's not a marching band,"
noted band publicist Don Col-
eman. "So (listeners) will hear a
broad range of niusic."

Through the years, the band —
known in the carly days as the
North Vancouver Schools’ Band
— was a common sight at various
