The Carol Ships will come to the park and 14 choirs will be singing Christmas carols. The public is in- vited to come and join the evening of Christmas cheer. “We ask that people dress warmly and bring a flashlight in order to see the carol sheets,”’ said parks events coordinator Rete McKay, the event organizer. The City Fire Department will bring Santa Claus to give out can- dy canes, city workers will be sell- ing hot chocolate and the Salvation © Army band will play. “There will also be a bin on-site to accept tinned goods for the Food Bank,’’ explained McKay, | who is hoping to make the flotilla an annual!
