Community Services
(NSCS):

A crisis line volunteer is
needed to respond to calls
received on our 24 hour dis-
tress line; to provide support,
empathic listening, non-
directive problem. solving,
and community — referral
information.

Volunteers are needed to

help in music programs, at
lunch time, to take seniors
for walks in the community,
to play cards, and to help
with the craft programs.

Various volunteer oppor-
tunities are available to pro-
mote an integrated, equi-
table community, which val-
ues diversity through various
training and settlement pro-
grams, Our goal is to build a
stronger, fairer, and more
compassionate multicultural
society.

witness services in the North
Vancouver and Vancouver
Program, to assise Crown
Counsel and support victims-
witnesses through the court
system.

An office volunteer is
needed tor a front desk-tele-
phone reception. Duties
include typing/computer
work (if vou have the skills),
photocopying, mailing eur
brochures and news letters,
general office administration.
