B.C. SUPREME Court Justice Donald Clancy has set
aside Tuesday, Jan. £2, as the day he will hand down his
verdict in the case of a 50-year-old man charged with
criminal negligence in connection with the death of a
West Vancouver woman,

Laverne Darrell Vanlerberghe was charged after a
Mazda RX 7 fatally struck Ingaborg Von Schtock, 56, on
Marine Drive and 19th Street. in West Vancouver on.
March 30, 1991.

Vanlerberghe’s trial-on the criminal negligence cherge
ended on Tuesday. ;

Vanlerberghe is also scheduled to appear in B.C.
Supreme Court on Monday, March 22, to face a charge
of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
