THE YOUNG House, 1753 Grand Boulevard, North Vancouver. Built in 1927.
ARTS AND CRAFTS DESIGN

THIS SHINGLE-clad Arts and
Crafts-style cottage is a prominent
-home in the upper Grand Boulevard -
area, and is a fine example of this

Style.

It was designed by William
Bow, of the Benzie and Bow archi-
tectural firm, in 1927.

At that time a second surge of
development was taking place on

was one of Vancouver's first actors
both on stage and in radio drama.
