experienced trail rider in two
mountain bike touring workshops
offered this summer through
Karen Magnussen Arena.

Exploring By Mountain Bike is
an introduction to safe riding
techniques and terrain for anyone
aged 10 years and over. Families
and beginners are welcome. The
course takes place Sun., July 26,
from noon to 4 p.m.

Touring will take place over two
Sundays, August 9 and 16, from
noon to 4 p.m., and is an oppor-
tunity for moderately experienced
riders to participate, with some in-
struction, in a guided tour of
trails.

Both workshops meet at Upper
Lynn School parking lot and riders
must supply their own bikes. To

The 1987 edition of this popular local tournament is set for
Saturday, July 11. Sponsored by the Morth Shore News and
Park Royal Shopping Centre, this tournament is open to all
‘golfers, regardless of club affiliation or membership.

Again this year, there are four divisions: men, women,
seniors and youth (16 years and under), each with plenty of
prizes.

Qualifying Rounds

May be played on any day from Sunday, June 7 through

| Sunday, June 28. Place your score cards in the tournament

box in the clubhouse.

Is the regular green fee ticket, $4.50 (Seniors and youth .
under 16, $2.50 - weekends $4.50)
