WITH AN eye to
design and a flair for
fashion, Charlotte Mit-
chell is ready to take on
the fashion world

Mitchell, a North Shore
resident, is trying to find her
way in the labyrinth world
of fashion design.

She recently exhibited her
latest collection at the Daddy
Long Legs in the Interna-
tional Plaza Hotel and her
fashions are now at Urban
Innovations, a boutique on
Granville Street.

THREE COLLECTIONS

Mitchell only started
designing seriously about
two years ago and has
already put out three collec-
tions.

She has no formal training
in fashion design, but has
taken courses through North
Shore Continuing Educa-
tion.

Mitchell designs women’s
clothes — what she describes
as ‘‘younger clothes.’ At
