We Are Very Concerned 911 emergency dispatchers will be working seven days a week, 24-hours a day during the coming holiday scason to ensure that your emergency calls are answered as quickly as possible. Still, you may encounter delays when you call 911 because of an ongoing staff shortage. Please be patient and we'll take your cal] as soon as possible. The possibility of delays and complications may not be what you want to hear regarding your focal emergency communication system — especially before _ the holiday season — but at least you know there may be delays and you won't be surpnsed if it happens to you. Meanwhile, because of the staff shortage our vacations have been canceled for this season. While we are sorry that we can’t spend holiday time with our families, we believe that public szfety must be the priority.
