1983, in Zuerich, Switzerland. Three years later they

immigrated to Canada and since then they have been liv-

John (Corky) and Jean (née Prochuk) Cordocedo were
married in North Vancouver on. the first day of summer,
June 21, 1987. They raised three.daughters: Terry, Arlene
and Shelley, and now enjoy their grandchildren Meagan,
Nicole, Benjamin, Jessica and Nolan. Both have recently
retired and look forward to summers ‘on their boat, the
Typee Il, Happy 40th wedding anniversary!

Longtime North Shore residents Gordon and Christine
Allan were married.June 3, 1947, at St. Helen's Anglican ©
Church, West Point Grey. A 50th anniversary reception for
family and friends was given in their honor June 8 by their ,
daughter Pam Winthrose and son Stuart Allan, Gordon
was recently honored by the CGA Association for 50 years
as a member, and Christine is well-knewn as an early

childhood educator. The couple has five grandchildren.
