In the beginning management was the “‘power’’ and we ail con- cede they were tyrants and workers were no better than slaves. We also agree that unions were not only a necessity, but the salvation of our country. Management did not want to relinquish the power, but eventual- ly, after much turmoil and strife, unions prevailed, and as the balance-of-power equalized, _ everyone prospered. I therefore see Bill 19 as a necessity to once again equalize the balance-of-power. We may have to go through a period of turmoil, but I believe we will be able to attain and enjoy a thriving economy if the scales are balanced. Equality neutralizes power and when union, non-union and Management realize that and start working with each other to attain a common goal, the government will not have to be a referee and can get on with the job it was elected to do.
