Youths charged with B & E

AN ALERT citizen brought
two young offenders to
justice Wednesday night.

Charges of break and
enter, theft and possession
of stolen property are pen-
ding against the two young
offenders arrested in the
Caufeild area of West Van-
couver,

Aged 15 and 16, the
youths were found with a
small amount of jewelry
stolen in an earlier break and
enter, said Cst, Colin Bur-
sill.

Six counts of break and
enter, one count of posses-
sion of stolen property and
one count of possession of

THE NORGATE Family
Drop-In is open and
awaiting parents and tots
from this community.

On Wednesday mornings,
between 10 a.m. and 12
.noon, the program takes
place at Norgate Community
School.

The children, up to four
years old, play and learn
under the skilled supervision
of playroom supervisor
Dorette Calderwood and her
assistant Marian Miller.

Meanwhile the parents |

have a chance to take a break
from parenting — chatting
over 2.cup of coffee, meeting
with Cora Ryan, the North
Shore Family Services co-
ordinator of this program,
and hearing speakers of their
choice.
