There is an average increase of six percent. For

instance, Third Party Liability coverage together
with adjustments for vehicle use, will result in an
increase of between eleven and twenty-five dol-
jars. Some owners of vehicles rated for ‘‘business
use"’ may pay a slightly lower rate than in 1983..

WHAT DETERMINES HOW MUCH I
PAY FOR INSURANCE?

The vehicle you drive, your claim record, and the
purpose for which your vehicle is used.

It is extremely important to insure your vehicle
in the correct ‘use’ category. If your vehicle is
improperly rated, a claim on your Own Damage
coverage (e.g., Collision, Comprehensive) will
be denied and you will be required to reimburse
the Corporation for any Third Party claims
paid on your behalf.

If I DRIVE MY CAR TO AND FROM
WORK, IS THAT ‘BUSINESS USE’?

Only if you also use the car in your work. Using a
vehicle to drive ‘to and from work’ or ‘to and from
school’ puts it in a different category from
‘business use’ or ‘pleasure use’. If your vehicle is
improperly rated, the consequences stated above

will apply. If you’re uncertain about the right «
classification for your vehicle, ask your Autoplan
agent.

HOW MUCH AUTO INSURANCE

WHAT IS A DEDUCTIBLE?

The amount you pay before insurance coverage
takes over if an accident is judged to be your
responsibility. You have a choice of deductibles. To
choose the one that is right for you,’ decide how
much you could afford to pay to repair your vehicle
