Lynn Valley became the
first team to qualify for play
in the semi-final round of the
coaches league cup by
pulling an upset Sunday
morning. After relaxing with
a bye in the early-morning
(9:00) round of games, they
met thetr arch-rivals Lynn-
wood Hotel in a_ 10:45
match-up and edged them 2-
1, led by the fine goal-
keeping of John Palmer.
Jack Simington and John
Tinmouth (on a_ penalty-
kick) scored for Lynn Valley
while Rob Foot talhed for
Lynnwood.

produced = shut-outs 9 as
Lynnwood Hotel blanked
